12 Dec prayer requests

Here is a short list of prayer requests.. Thank you so much for bringing these to God for us. We really believe that there is such great power in prayer.

1. That Sofia, Mia and I would be completely healthy. Not for our sake, but because in order to visit Martin, we can't have anything that he might catch. Sofia has had a lingering cough and has seen Martin only once. It is really hard for me every day to make the decision whether or not the girls and/or I can go- when everything in me wants to see him and protect him at the same time.

1. Abychom Sofia, Mia i já byly zcela zdravé.

2. For our families and for others who love Martin- to be able to process this and deal with this however they need to. Especially over the holidays.

3. That this treatment would be exactly what Martin's body needs to be cancer-free. He is starting to feel different side-effects and some more discomfort and has a sore throat and a swollen lip. Pray that none of these lead to any kind of bleeding or anything that would cause them to have to pause the treatment or have to start over...or mean something more serious for his health.

4. For this next stage of his treatment- for patience and strength. That during this time in the hospital he would continue to learn more about himself and God.

5. For Sofia and Mia and me (Jane). That we would feel the freedom to be sad, but also be surprised by many moments of joy this season. That I would rest and trust in the Lord and have the strength and energy to be a good mom to the girls and care for Martin from afar.

6. For deep encouragement for Martin and I and those around us. As Martin said to me the other day, 'this is a marathon, not a sprint,' and I am beginning to feel that the first phase is done and we've turned the corner....but still have to continue running. Pray for us in this...

thank you all.

Děkuji všem.
